Bridgeport, Ca
Let me just tell you: Daniel and Rachel’s gorgeous ceremony held at Bridgeport Ranch was simply breathtaking. The green fields and snow-capped mountains stretched out in every direction and made for a truly stunning backdrop no matter which way you looked!
But Bridgeoprt is not only beautiful. Daniel and Rachel both have a very close connection to the small little town of 575 people! Daniel’s family has been going to Bridgeport for over 50 years to fish at Walker River and Daniel himself took up the tradition just like his dad and grandpa when he was 13.
Rachel soon fell in love with the town herself once she and Daniel started dating in 2015. As their relationship grew more and more serious, Daniel’s dad only had one challenge for Rachel: In keeping with their family tradition, she needed to catch a Trout before she could marry one!
(Spoiler alert: she caught two trout within minutes and the rest is history!)
It was so heartwarming to hear everyone’s stories of how much Rachel and Daniel have both grown not only together but also how they each have enhanced one another’s lives. I mean, Daniel got Rachel to try salad of all things (she is no longer allergic) and as a fellow picky-eater, I know this is no small feat!
For their ceremony, Rachel danced down the aisle to Stevie Nicks and then back out again with Daniel to Cake (I was not the only one to appreciate her great taste in music!). Absolutely delicious BBQ was provided by Hog Wild BBQ and DJ James cracked jokes and kept the party going all night with all of the classics! And to top it all off, Rachel herself, the owner of Sugar Magnolia Flowers, did the florals!
Rachel and Daniel, thank you SO much for being such amazing, genuine people and making this one heck of a fun wedding to photograph! I wish you both the very best and I am so excited to have been able to capture your special day for you!
