What's the Difference? 🤔
UNDERSTANDABLY YOU MAY HAVE SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT THE HECK IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TWO OPTIONS! AND WHAT EVEN IS CREATIVE DIRECTION!?
Well, I'm here to answer that for you!:
To start off with, Creative Direction is the act of making the creative decisions for a project. For a photoshoot, this includes the look/aesthetic, what colors to use, what kind of light, what backgrounds and sets, clothing, props, what shots to capture and more.
In simplified terms, it's the planning.
My two different photoshoot options stem from two different mindsets:
1) You like to DIY everything yourself and want to save some money but still get professional photos
Or 2) You want to save yourself time while making sure that your brand shoot is the absolute best it possibly can be with all of the creative advice, experience and direction I can offer you!
So without further ado:
📝 DIY Planning:
If you like getting it all done yourself, this option is for you! For DIY Planning, I offer you guidance on the barest of essentials, only sending you one simple questionnaire on which you will choose your photoshoot location out of a selection of MPP pre-approved spots that I know have great light. I will also supply Pinterest inspiration boards for outfits and give you my Standard Shot List and Props List, which you can add or detract to as you please.
And that's it! You submit that to me and we meet on shoot day to capture your fabulous brand!
👩🎨 Full-Service Creative Direction:
This is my signature offering during which I take all of the planning stress off of you! I am the primary person brainstorming the creative decisions for your brand photoshoot -all you do is fill out my amazing Brand Questionnaire and I take it from there!
I scout and source the perfect locations for your brand photoshoot (which often involves fun cafes or brand-colored murals), help you put together brand-inspired outfits, create a personalized Props List for you to make your shoot stand out and give you a minute-by-minute timeline of how Shoot Day will go!
This option also includes a 1-hour planning Zoom call 2-weeks before your shoot to go over all of the ideas together to make sure we're on the same page :)
